Blue icons appear only for drivers you have personally ridden with before using the Swaraaj app. Grey icons are available drivers you haven't ridden with yet. As you use Swaraaj more, more icons turn blue — building your personal trusted driver network.

No. Swaraaj has no surge pricing under any conditions. The Swaraaj fare Calculator dos not have surge pricing built in. No peak-hour hikes, no rain surcharges, no platform-controlled price manipulation.
Swaraaj drivers are equipped with a fare estimation tool in their swaraaj driver app. Confirm your drop location and the driver will show you the estimated fare in advance with complete break-up — kms and time charges shown separately, thus maintaining transparency in fare calculation.
You pay the driver directly — cash or UPI. Swaraaj does not handle payment or hold any money. Driver will show you the final fare at the end of the trip and pay at the end.
No, the fare is only for the distance travelled, any toll or parking incurred during travelling has to be paid by the rider additionally over the fare.

Swaraaj Rider Code is the unique identification number generated when you register. You have to give this to the driver before the trip starts — else the trip won't be recorded and you may not get an invoice, nor will you be able to track or share the live trip location.
Your trip invoice is automatically saved under "Trip History" in the Rider App after each ride. You can view, download, or share it any time — useful for office expense reimbursements or personal travel records.
